1. Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer (PCE) Monomer (Largest Application)

SMAS acts as chain transfer agent and functional comonomer for polycarboxylate superplasticizer. It introduces sulfonic groups to improve cement dispersion and slump retention, effectively control polymer molecular weight, reduce odor of finished admixtures, and enhance the workability of concrete and precast components.

2. Third Monomer for Polyacrylonitrile (Acrylic Fiber)

Used as modifying monomer for acrylic fiber. It greatly improves fiber dyeability, heat resistance, softness and spinnability, enabling fibers to absorb dyes evenly and achieve high color fastness.

3. Water Treatment Chemicals

Copolymerized with acrylic acid, acrylamide to produce scale inhibitors and dispersants. Excellent inhibition performance against calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate and sulfate scaling in circulating cooling water systems.

4. Oilfield Chemical Additives

Raw material for high-temperature & salt-resistant polymer fluid loss agents and displacing agents used in tertiary oil recovery.

5. Other Fields
